In the most emotionally difficult moments, we relieve families from bureaucratic burdens, acting on their behalf with speed and precision.
We take care of obtaining the necessary medical documentation, filing the death report, obtaining various municipal permits for transportation, burial, cremation, and collecting death certificates and extracts.
We advance all necessary expenses for the funeral proceedings, acting as an intermediary between families and the involved entities, thus positioning ourselves as the sole point of contact for the client.
Firstly, we will arrange all necessary medical assessments, file the death report, obtain burial permits, and, where required, transportation and cremation permits, and then deliver the death certificates to you. You won't have to worry about the financial aspect either because we will advance all expenses related to cemetery concessions, taxes, and rights necessary for the funeral proceedings, relieving you of the burden of payments to various entities, thus positioning ourselves as the sole point of contact for you.
During the observation period, upon request from the family, the deceased can be transferred to a suitable location "with an open casket," meaning without the obligation to seal the coffin. This means that the funeral parlor does not necessarily have to be at the place of death.
For example, transfers are allowed from residences to hospital funeral parlors, and vice versa, it is possible to transfer the deceased to one's own residence from a facility (during opening hours).
We are equipped with highly qualified personnel and the best equipment, which meets and exceeds the minimum requirements set by law.
A funeral with cremation differs from a traditional funeral, as the cremation process occurs between the funeral service and the burial. This means that typically, some days pass before the ashes are available. However, upon request and under certain conditions, immediate cremation is also possible.
The ashes, collected in a suitable urn, are retrieved by us and taken to the cemetery for the burial ceremony or handed over to the family members who wish to keep them at home. Dispersion in designated cemetery areas or in nature, at locations chosen by the selected municipality, is also allowed.
Regarding the burocracy, cremation requires an additional series of certificates and permits which will be arranged by us from the early stages of organizing the service.
The desire for cremation must be expressed by the deceased during their lifetime and can be legally documented by:
We will take care of collecting from our offices and transferring to the relevant authorities all expressed wishes.
Funeral expenses are deductible and are directly entered by our funeral agency in the online 730 tax return form.
The deduction The deduction corresponds to 19% on a maximum of 1550 euros, therefore the maximum deductible amount is 294.50 euros. To benefit from it, it is necessary to have a regular invoice with traceable payments, and the invoice holder must declare income in Italy.
The deduction is split equally among the invoice holders.
N.B.:
Some pension funds provide a contribution towards funeral expenses. Therefore, it should be verified whether the deceased was enrolled in one of these funds
Ricordiamo inoltre che le spese funebri sono esenti da iva ex art. 10 e 15 D.P.R. 633/72.
Interment is the burial of the coffin in a grave dug in the ground within a cemetery area.
Depth, methods, and timing are determined by specific mortuary police regulations. In the cemeteries of the Municipality of Schio, it is generally possible to carry out interment in municipal areas without purchasing a concession for a guaranteed minimum duration of ten years.
Alternatively, it is possible to obtain a renewable twenty-year concession for burial for a fee.
In municipal areas, only one coffin can be interred, while in paid areas, interment of one coffin plus two caskets containing mortal remains or two cremation urns is allowed. In both cases, the external embellishment of the burial is the responsibility of the family, who can freely choose the type of monument, respecting the guidelines provided by the cemetery regulations of the Municipality.
Entombment is the burial of the coffin inside a masonry structure, which can be a niche or a family tomb.
For entombment to proceed, the coffin must be equipped with a zinc interior that is hermetically sealed at the time of closure.
In the Municipality of Schio, paid concessions for niches and family tombs are available, with respective durations of thirty years and sixty years, renewable.
For each niche or tomb space, it is possible to entomb one coffin plus two caskets containing mortal remains or two cremation urns.
The Municipality provides the marble closure slab, which can be subsequently customized with inscriptions and any ornaments.
To finalize each position held by the deceased during their lifetime, family members must visit the relevant offices for pension matters, succession of real estate, vehicle paperwork, banks, insurance companies, notaries, household utilities, any care facilities, professional associations, and associations.
Some institutions may require, in addition to the death certificate also a sworn declaration ("dichiarazione sostitutiva d’atto notorio") to be obtained from the Municipality of residence.
Some insurance or financial products that cover death may require a death certificate attesting to the cause; this should be requested from the Medical Directorate of the Local Health Authority (ULSS) where the death occurred.
We remind you that all the procedures just listed must be carried out directly by the heirs, whether they are legitimate or testamentary.
We have created this tool thinking about the main tasks you will encounter after facing the loss of a loved one. We want to support you even in this phase and we try to do it with care, gathering useful information directly from the relevant Authorities and Institutions.
